Sale of Personal Information
Sagejoy will not sell, rent or license the personally identifiable information that you submit in your registration for our services. In order to make Sagejoy more useful to all Members, we collect and analyze aggregated, non-personal, statistical information about subscribers and visitors. From time to time we share this information, in aggregate and de-identified form only, with third parties. This information reveals nothing about individual Member and visitors to the Site and is only used to communicate demographic and behavioral understandings of our customers and visitors internally and to potential advertisers, business partners and investors.
Our Site’s payment processor is Stripe.com. They provide us with the online payment processing application platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Sagejoy may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Sagejoy or the Site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Sagejoy; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Members of Sagejoy or the public.
The Site uses “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web server. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Sagejoy pages, or register with Sagejoy site or services, a cookie helps Sagejoy to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Sagejoy website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Sagejoy features that you customized.
Sagejoy also uses third party cookies for statistical purposes to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics, such as to estimate number of users and detect which parts of the Site users find most useful, and identify features that could be improved. For such purposes, we use third party cookies, such as Google Analytics, to help analyze how our users use the Service. The technical usage information (including IP address) generated by the cookie regarding use of the Site is transmitted to such third parties to compile statistical reports.
Sagejoy may also use third party cookies for marketing purposes to collect information about a user’s browsing habits and to remember visits in order to make advertising more relevant to that user’s and to his or her interests. These cookies are usually placed by third party advertising networks and social media providers, such as Doubleclick, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads and Twitter.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Sagejoy platform and services or other websites you visit.

Data Access and Portability
In some jurisdictions, applicable law may entitle you to request certain copies of your personal information held by us. You may also be entitled to request copies of personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or request us to transmit this information to another service provider (where technically feasible). We will comply with all such appropriate requests no later than the legally-mandate deadline.
Data Retention and Erasure
We generally retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the performance of the relationship between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. In certain jurisdictions, you can request to have all your personal information deleted entirely. Please note that if you request the erasure of your personal information:
- We may retain some of your personal information as necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention, enhancing safety, and billing. For example, if we suspend a Sagejoy account for fraud or safety reasons, we may retain certain information from that Sagejoy account to prevent that person from opening a new Sagejoy account in the future.
- We may retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. For example, Sagejoy may keep some of your information for tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations.
Information you have shared with others (e.g., reviews, conversations with others, transactions you've made) may continue to be publicly visible on the Sagejoy platform even if your Sagejoy account is cancelled. However, your name will no longer be displayed next to this information.
Because we maintain the Sagejoy platform on the Third Party SaaS Provider to protect from accidental or malicious loss and destruction, residual copies of your personal information may not be removed from our backup systems for a limited period of time.
