Hey I'm a Fitness enthusiast. I've been working out for about 6 years on and off due to injuries. I like to think I know a little bit about working out. After dealing with serious chronic injuries myself such as a herniated disc in my lower back, I feel like I would be able to be there for people who are also struggling with chronic injuries affecting them physically and/or mentally.
I was originally pre-med in undergrad because I loved helping others. It wasn't until my injury that I discovered the wonderful field of Physical Therapy from doing a lot of self studying for self help. I realized it was exactly what I wanted to do because I would be able to devote myself in helping others yet at the same time be in a setting that I'm passionate about: the fitness world. Since then, I've worked as an Aide at Professional Physical Therapy for about a year and have learned a ton. My next step in life is applying to Physical Therapy school to become a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy.
It was at my PT clinic where I was told I am very empathetic and patient and was invited to be a mentor on this beautiful platform. I would love to be there to listen to anyone regardless of whether or not it has any relevance to my fields of interest as I strongly believe that as humans we should love, care, and learn from one another.
